Phil's life changed when he was 15, because of an accident in a lab. He can change from being a boy, to being a girl at will. But he can't always control it. Ever since then, he has been an outsider. Phil tries to hide it in school, with several close calls of being caught as a freak. He pushed everyone away because of this accident. His parents avoid him like the plague.
All that changes when his internet friend Danisnotonfire moves to Phil's neighborhood. They start to become closer to each other, until Phil suddenly starts to fall for Dan. Phil suppresses his feelings, knowing he could scare Dan away with his secret. Will Dan accept Phil for who he is?
