This is just a simple poem I wrote myself and it won first place in the poetry contest at my local library. It won me a lime green writers notebook, a book of poems, and $25. Everyone enjoyed it so much that my dad got me to read it in church on Memorial Day. That being said, I thought I would let you guys enjoy it and tell me what you think. The first few poems may not seem worthy of being read but... later down in the book they get better. To some, my poems are beautiful; to some, my poems are shitty and they are rubbish💀.
