An individual of a species which originates deep within the endless depths of the cosmos; far beyond Dark Space. They're a nomadic species, drifting endlessly in the velvety blackness of the universe. They are the librarians of the cosmos. Catalogers of cultures, beings, and languages that once thrived long ago, and not so long ago. They strive to silently recollect and organize information that would otherwise be lost to the universe.
They go unnoticed by all due to abilities granted by their vast knowledge and technology, and use this to their advantage. Yet they never interfere. They never help, fight, nor communicate with others. To all others of the universe, they do not exist. They are a silent species, more than just physically (mouthless, yet with a mind that could echo across all known galaxies). For them, this means that they're safe.
Or they thought they were. Until they were found and attacked by a species known as the "Thruxx". It was entirely by chance that their vessel was found, and it was entirely in misfortune that all on their ship were slaughtered.
Except one.
In a species that has no need for names, this ones chose the name, "Nestor". Within the span of two Earth years, he's captured, tortured, and then escapes the clutches of the Thruxx, only to find himself stranded on the nearest habitable planet: "Earth".
Little is truly known about the inhabitants of the little blue planet, save for their hostility to anything foreign to them. Despite this, he goes forth to walk among their people --as one of them, in hopes that one day he may be rescued by others of his kind.
This is his story. The story of a single alien lifeform. Heartache, truths, painful realizations, and love. It is on Earth that he will learn more than he ever has in his 25,056 years of life. It is here that he will find himself, the truth, and it is here on Earth that he will come to love human beings, despite all of our flaws. He will die here, but first...
He will Live.
Season 4 of The Virus Within
Trinity is familiar with zombies, being one herself, but when strange zombies start appearing, she realizes that the world she knew might be changing yet again.
When a dangerous set of scientific notes are discovered, Trinity and her friends don't realize anything is wrong until a frantic radio call comes in. Unaware of the notes, they race to the south and struggle to determine where the strange zombies came from. The zombies are unlike any ranks previously seen, and they aren't as predictable. Some have new tricks hidden up sleeves, forcing any Stronghold they encounter to quickly adapt to the new challenge or risk being overrun. Secrets never remain hidden, and zombie apocalypses never make life easy.
