A boy, hardly over the age of seventeen, tumbled into a world of monsters and terrors.
Frisk, as his name had been, saw unspoken horrors in this world, and he was alone to face it all - except he wasn't,

Upon his descent, Frisk encountered a girl who lived in the realm of monsters, and a girl who saw this place as home.
Her name was Chara.

Through their adventures, Frisk soon realized that his companion was more or less human. Chara, you see, had been a ghost.
A ghost who took the role of Frisk's guide throughout the world.

The duo managed to free the monsters, and that is when they left each other.

And Frisk proceeded to lead the monster inhabitants to freedom.

Months after the events of Undertale, Frisk returns to the Underground to see his ghostly counterpart, but upon his arrival, she wasn't exactly 'ghostly' anymore,

No monster or human expected this,
Chara nor Frisk expected this,
But they are overjoyed to have a child once robbed from them returned, back to live the happy life they left behind.
