A boy, hardly over the age of seventeen, tumbled into a world of monsters and terrors.
Frisk, as his name had been, saw unspoken horrors in this world, and he was alone to face it all - except he wasn't,
Upon his descent, Frisk encountered a girl who lived in the realm of monsters, and a girl who saw this place as home.
Her name was Chara.
Through their adventures, Frisk soon realized that his companion was more or less human. Chara, you see, had been a ghost.
A ghost who took the role of Frisk's guide throughout the world.
The duo managed to free the monsters, and that is when they left each other.

And Frisk proceeded to lead the monster inhabitants to freedom.
Months after the events of Undertale, Frisk returns to the Underground to see his ghostly counterpart, but upon his arrival, she wasn't exactly 'ghostly' anymore,
No monster or human expected this,
Chara nor Frisk expected this,
But they are overjoyed to have a child once robbed from them returned, back to live the happy life they left behind.

In the undertale universe a human fell down into the underground (AKA the monsters' home) this human is known as Frisk. She (Canonically she is gender neutral but for the sake of the fanfic they will be known as a she) befriended the entire underground by freeing them from a seemingly eternal spell that trapped them down there for many years. Though to get there Frisk had to sacrifice a friend (Asriel) and from that day on frisk just couldn't get the fact that she couldn't save someone out of her head. A long time ago, two races dominated the land: monsters and humans. The relationship between both races was conflictual, hostile, and difficult, as humans feared monsters, both for their appearances and for the great power they could possess by obtaining a human soul. Because of this, monsters were always treated as scum and creatures to be feared, creating a significant prejudice against them. However, one day, the monsters grew tired of this situation, and their king decided to start a war against all humans, thus decreeing the beginning of ruin for their own people. This war lasted a long time, but in the end, the victors were the humans, who, with great magical power derived from the souls of the wizards of the time, sealed the monsters underground. Many years passed after this event. Legends said that any human who fell into that underground would die, but a child decided to go to the place where everything had been sealed. They ended up falling but managed to survive the fall and now seek a way to escape or a reason to stay. Immense credits to Error Sannes, a YouTube channel creating its own AU of StoryFell. Without his narrative, I would have created something much more basic, so to speak. Of course, I will also create my own scenes and specific interactions, but what he has done is already very good and helps me a lot to have a direction.
