After being betrayed by the woman she loves, Violet flees the Royal City with the help of her personal aides. She collapses outside a small village, where she meets a grieving healer. As her wounds are tended to and she is able to get back to her feet, she learns of the total devastation of the Royal City and of her family.
Enraged, Violet sets out with Anna on a quest of revenge to destroy the people who destroyed her family and life in a story of love and sorrow.
