Nobles, aka Vampires, have invaded Ember's home world, Enya. Ember and her family join a rebel group that are fighting against the Nobles and trying to find a way to get rid of them. Ember makes two friends in the rebel group, and the three of them become close. Along the way, Ember make an unexpected ally and uses them to get her information for her group.
