He said and purposely leaned into me so much so his lips nearly grazed mine, I squeaked and shut my eyes in surprise but his forehead only pressed on mine. I opened my eyes slowly to meet his and I realized he was holding up a diamond studded ring. I looked back at him only to see him watching my reaction closely. "What is that for?", I hoped he didn't detect how shaky my voice had become because of our close proximity. "This is your engagement ring, my dear fiancée", he said and took a step back, burying one of his hands in his pocket and tilting his head. I just stared wide eyed at the ring in his right hand, it was all too real.
