Jack Land grows up in a small village in the town of Overland. He grows to be the strongest man in the village and protects the people from the dark king. King Adgar. He ruined the lands and scraped the money from village after village. Soon a sword in the stone shows up and no one is able to release it from its rock, until Jack shows up. With the sword out, the king wants Jack killed. With Jacks new friends they will set up to destroy the royal family. He goes through dangerous adventures in order to take down King Adgar. Along the way Jack meets a beautiful girl who soon falls in love with, but she holds a secret that can change everything.
Warning-Some chapters may contain foul language. I only do this to give the story some depth. Not all but some.
( I do not own these characters! The ships in here are Jelsa, Eugunzel, and Hiccstrid. I'm sorry but I don't ship Mericup. Merida will still be in the story however. I hope you enjoy and don't forget to follow, vote, and comment.)

Land or Water?
Sollux was by the ocean, sitting on the dock one day. He doesn't really have the greatest life on land, he was fired from his job, he needed money to pay rent for his apartment, he didn't have many friends, and things just didn't work out for him anymore. As he gets up to leave from the dock, he falls into the ocean, but then he's saved by some mystery person and when he finds out it was a merman who saved him, he becomes great friends with him and finds out that his name is Eridan. But then, Eridan's father disapproves of their friendship and does something horrible. Sollux then finds Eridan with tons of cuts and bruises all over him, on the beach and helps him out. He does all of this while keeping him secret from everyone else except for his best friend, Karkat. After some time, he realizes that he can't stay on land if he wants to keep Eridan safe. Sollux will have to choose whether to stay on land and look for a different way to help him, or to become a merman himself and live in the water for the rest of his life. I usually don't write romance, but I want to get better at it, so here we go... About updates, I wish I could say I will be posting at least once a day but I know that won't be true because I'm currently editing my book that I am publishing this summer (2020) and this story is more of just a de-stressor (is that a word) so the grammar and writing, especially the tense (it will most likely flip between present and past tense, just pretend it is all the same) might not be perfect, but I just felt like writing it.
