To Be One takes place in a fictional spacefaring universe inhabited by aliens, and other species, co-existing with each other but... Earth, a terrestrial planet, a home for living species like humans remain untouched.
 
After a long day of school, Noctis, Yujin, Jade, and Pearl are on their way home, spending their days as usual. Shortly after they reached the central park of Alvarez City, Pearl noticed that people suddenly disappeared making her and Jade the only people left. With one strange thing happening, the two of them don't have a clue that it will be the start of a story that will forever change their lives.
