After she rebelled against her mother Yellow Diamond at age 19, Yellow refused to pay for her college classes. She had a scholarship in Mechanical Engineering, but she decided to focus on her job in Beach city. She has never met her father and she has always been very distant from her mother. Lapis is 21 years old and has moved to beach city to get away from her ex; Jasper. Lapis was in jail for a while for a crime she did not do. She thought Beach City was a great town to move to because of the oceans that surround it. She has been surfing since she was 10 years old. Her mother, Blue Diamond, gave Lapis her old car. The car is a 1934 Ford "woodie" wagon. Due to the oldness of the car, it breaks down a lot which is no good for someone who spends 90% of their time outside on the waves. She goes to the Beach City Local Mechanical Center. This is where she meets Peridot. Lapis is a regular customer there. Instead of Lapis coming back later to pick up her fixed car, she chats with Peridot while she is fixing the car. A few weeks in, Lapis started developing feelings for Peridot, Peridot's feelings for Lapis soon caught up. Trouble does come their ways. Yellow Diamond comes back for Peridot, Jasper finds Lapis' new address and Lapis disappears for months. **MAY BE NSFW/SMUT**
