A short story. *A group of teenagers gather on the sidewalk in front of a single-family home with a FOR SALE sign plunged into the freshly cut grass. They converse and hug their friend while crying. "We are going to miss you," they say. "Please keep in touch. We should do video calls as much as we can." Ellie, the teenager in the middle of the group, refrains from crying. No one's interested with my name, except for the cafe's barista. "Don't make me repeat. State your name!" "Nathalia Nicolai." I spilled flabbergasted by his yelling. For once, i saw... amusement then it quickly changed back to disgust. "I, Alpha Chase Ashton Michael, rejects you Nathalia Nicolai as my mate and Luna of Bloodridge pack." "Huh?" Should i say 'nice to meet you'? "Now, repeat after me. I, Nathalia Nicolai, accepts your rejection, as your mate and luna of Bloodridge pack." He nod at me. Ok? i repeat the whole verse. "Good." This is my original story. Please do not steal. Melanie's husband had been in a car accident. And passed away for a year now. Her friends Victoria and Levi, believe it is time to get Melanie out and about again. So they try setting her up with someone they believe is the perfect match for Mel. Levi's best friend. But she chose to build her walls up so nobody else could be let in. Afraid that if she did. She'd lose them as she lost her husband. Melanie decided she'd rather be alone. Than let someone in and have a chance of being hurt again. Of losing someone again. Anthony Clark had been friends with Victoria and Levi for quite some time. He himself has a troubled past. Making it difficult to trust people. Anthony is also worried he would be left behind again. Should he decide to take a chance, and let someone in. Both him and Mel can be stubborn in their ways. However, Anthony chooses in taking Levi's advice. Deciding to pursue Mel. Anthony discovers the more he hangs out with her. Bit by bit, she's able to help heal him.
