Of all the places that existed on this wretched earth, God saw it fit that the girl Hakika would end up being born in the worst of them all, the Wasafi Slum. She was naughty and hard-headed, always getting into trouble. A part of her felt like she did not belong here. A slum. An overcrowded, smelly, uncouth, and all the words her tiny head could find to explain a place that felt like hell.

This is a great story of a young girl trying to disentangle herself from the slum and liberate her people. But the story has a special twist that takes us back to the special cultural rising of a hero. Setting - Imagine Kenya.
