He is also favoured by NHL scouts, and he is predicted to go number one in the 1987 draft. However, a knee injury sidelines him for an extended period of time. He therefore heads back to Ryerson, where his dream began. He takes up a job as assistant coach of the Raiders, his former team. There, he learns a lot about himself, and his doubts of returning to the game he loves are dashed by his friends and family.
