In another universe, few people have accumulated powers. Each person has an ability specific to them, and an array of powers that they can learn, like a wizard. These people  were called "Sarges." In these times, people had clans commonly based upon personality. The clan leader from the clan of murdering known for being apathetic and ruthless escapes the clutches of the clan throne, and runs away. His name? Tristan Sanguier.

A sarge by the name of Winter Weissle goes to the capital to join the number one clan, and meets many people along her path. One including Tristan, who turned her world around. Or maybe she turned around his.
