Jason Kalliber, a fourteen year old resident of the USA, comes home one night with a broken heart and a lot to do. A shooting star grants him a single wish; a wish that will change the course of his life forever, for when he wakes up the next morning, a small letter rests in his hand. After meeting with a few strangers, he learns that it's not just ANY letter, but an invitation from Aminon, a world with power greater than earth will ever know.
In a quest to find out who he really is, he sets out to this mysterious world. Upon arrival, he learns that the gate can only stay open so long. If he doesn't make it through the gate before it closes, he will be trapped in the world of Aminon forever.
