May there be a human without the following,
That would simply not be.
If that were to be so, may they have bled on cross shaped wood.
Ravenously, we eat.
Dead, alive, raw, cooked,
Whatever we desire is up to our appetite.
Carefully, we walk.
Either on flesh or stilts,
Whichever we walk on is up to the nature of us and those around us.
Skillfully, we hide.
Behind costumes, masks, screens, anything you can think of.
Whether we hide or not is up to the seekers.
This is what it means to be
Essentially Human

They say in the end we always pay for our sins, that when we reach those pearly gates and judgement falls that we will repent for our ways and justice will be served. That by only believing in HIS sacrifice are we truly ever saved. But... what if you are the sin itself... what if your very existence was a sin... an abomination stained onto the fabric of the world with no say nor choice of your own. An anomaly placed within the hands of the ignorant to wield as their weapon of choice. A damned creation in search of a salvation that will never be your own. People begin to forget what meant the world to them and they start pursuing other things. Even if that means moving on and living their lives like they were before. I mean you can't reverse death, right? But what if the dead could still walk among us but we had no idea?
