She grew up in with her father hunting things that go bump in the night. killing the things and want to break the statue of secrecy. It was her job to make sure humans never knew about the supernatural. When her and her father move to forks Washington to handle what apears to be a pack of werewolves and figure out whats causing all of the disappearances in Seattle she doesn't find what she's expecting.
