It is the things left unsaid that keep us from moving on.

15-year-old Dusk Acosta never struck out, he wasn't average per se, granted he didn't mind it that way. But Life always did hate the Acosta family and loved flipping the finger at them.

Life is said to change based on the decision a person makes, and when Dusk was walking home after a 10-hour shift, a decision was horribly made, and he paid the price.

Two years and a coma later, Dusks wakes up. His life has taken a turn for the better. His drug-addicted mother was clean and engaged with his neurosurgeon. His best and only friend, had become a different person. Yet, he feels as though he is surrounded by strangers, not knowing the people that say they love him, hold onto life-changing secrets and his forgotten memories.

And that horrible decision made on that July night was the trigger to something either beautiful or tragic.
