Camilla Taylor is a dreadfully plain girl and was doomed to die an old maid. Or at least, that is what she'd tell you.
Since seventh grade, Camilla has been obsessed with Jane Austen. She will tell anyone that her first and only love is Mr Darcy. She is determined never to marry and never thinks that she will. She is quite bookish and really boring.
When Camilla meets her new boss at a work party, she is appalled at how stand-offish he is and is determined to find another side of him

William James is determined not to marry, he doesn't think that any woman could ever live up to his standards. He believes that all women do nothing but gossip and are completely brainless most of the time.
When he meets his new employee, he is not willing to admit that he is drawn to her. She is smart and can hold her side in a conversation. He must keep his distance, or he might find himself falling head over heals for this infuriating woman.
