Everyone heard about the cannibal family where that one man got locked away for many years. He was released, then all of a sudden his family disappears. But. it wasn't just Jimmy and Julie. Their son Hunter, and a girl named Ava vanished as well. No one knows anything about where they could be, but if them, and their other cannibal relatives thought they were the only ones... Oh, they don't know how wrong they are. Girls can be cannibals too, and we can certainly kill if we want to protect those we love. Just you wait and see.

Hostage. Prisoner. What ever you wish to call it. They won't let me nor my friends leave. Taken by a cannibalistic family and claimed I was being adopted into their family. I already have a family of my own. And what of my friends that's with me? They're the main course. In the little town of Norbury, Canada, there have been several people disappearing without a trace. A couple of my colleagues and I decided to do a news article and discover the reasons for all the missing people. However I never realized the horrors that would await us in the quiet little town. As Emily and Jake set out on a road trip in attempts to lessen the strain they have on their relationship, Jake seems to add a little more when he invites his cousin Kelsey and her friend Kimmy to tag along. Not liking the way Kimmy and Jake are with one another, they later on during the trip pick up a guy named Luke along the way and in return he offers them free accommodation at his father's cabins he rents out to back packers, the cosy cabins situated on a beautiful bit of land even Emily can't resist. Thanking Luke for the gesture it doesn't take long for Emily and Jake to get stuck into an argument due to Emily not being able to bite her tongue for much longer on the Jake and Kimmy situation, Jake disappearing the next day with Kimmy and leaving Emily to wonder exactly what the both of them got up to. With things not sitting right with her and discovering Kelsey isn't saying much on the whereabouts of her cousin and friend. Not to mention the girl's weird behaviour on the matter, she soon finds that Kelsey's hiding something after practically dragging it out of her, and it doesn't take her long to work out she's been ditched by all three of them and left stranded. Soon she discovers Jake's ignoring her calls when multiple attempts to try to contact him end up going unanswered and for things to start unravelling, the person who had been there for her during the messy breakup with Jake, no longer a shoulder for her to lean on. Far away from home and covered in the blood of those who wronged her, she can't help but feel guilty for them, even if they all did plan to hurt her behind her back.Complete
