It had been almost three years since the death of Jayden Torres, El's younger brother. In those three years she became an addict and a misfit, but now she has an opportunity to change herself.
Marilyn Robertsons family moved to Pine shortly after her grandmother died. It had been her idea to move back to the small town she was born in.
