Squinting a little, I focus on a boy sitting at the table on the other side of the room. He's staring miserably down at his plate, totally ignoring everything going on around him; his face seems hollow and drawn.
"Lila, Who's that boy over there?" I hiss.
Without warning, the boy looks up and our eyes meet.
"That's Draco Malfoy," she whispers, her eyes wide with apprehension.
One day a letter arrives for muggle Theda Whitlock inviting her to attend Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry, where she becomes a proud Gryffindor. But then she meets a boy called Draco Malfoy... and discovers she has a powerful and dangerous gift which even the great Harry Potter doesn't possess...
