"No, Annalise. Mommy is gone." I told her. My son looked at me and walked outside. He needed to grieve alone. "But, Mommy will forever be in our hearts." I told her.
"What about the monsters?" She asked.
"They'll never touch you." I promised and she kissed her mother and turned to me. I took her hand and we left, fleeing into the unknown.

The Devil's Angel
It was a Sunday night, family night for the Greens. They were playing a board game when it happened. At exactly 11:11 pm; a time for wishes, a sixteen year old girl wished for true love one day. At that exact moment her window smashed and something flew into her room. It was a flock of them; they attracted the house and only took one thing: the girl. She remembers it clearly, the way she screamed scared out of her mind. The way it grabbed her waist and took off. She remembers screaming for help but no one came to her rescue. Oh how she wishes that she left her safety knife in her room. Then they would be safe. Her family! She just hopes they were fine, but the conclusion that she was taken says that her family would be back to normal soon. She sighs and thinks over her life. From a little kid she was always the loner. But her family loved her to death. It all changed when she turned ten. The world was changing. She remembers the exact day at the exact time. Her birthday; she calls it the hell day. Something bad always happens on her birthday and that year was the worst so far. On February 20/2020 at exactly 2:20 On the news they had let out the horrible announcement. Scientist's experiments had gone wrong. They call them the "Stone Devils". They were escaping from the labs and into our world. Made of stone and all male. Winged creatures that come into the night. He learns to love when fighting his demons. Where his demons becomes hers but she has to be an angel to save him from it. PLEA,,,,'' he stilled and turned around only to find her staring at him with a lost look. She looked away when he raised a brow at her then lowered her sight. He noticed the way her hand held tightly onto her dress as if it provided her the strength. The strength she needed for what she was about to say. She took a deep breath and in a defeated tone she let the word out''STAY.......'' ''NO'' was all he said as he waited for her reaction. She was taken aback with his reply. She looked up at him with her teary eye but she never let it roll down. "But you have to think about them too. How can you be so heartless? I never ever asked anything from you beside you never wanted this so called MARRIAGE.'' He strode towards her took one of her hand in his and bringing his other hand he put the ring in her palm saying "I have a very important meeting so I won't be staying as of now. But by the time I return home if this ring is on your finger and a smiling wife of mine is waiting for me with dinner on the table. Maybe! I might reconsider her wishes. Hmmmmm??? '' with a grin on his face he tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. "Bye Elena'' saying that he left the room. Elena looked down at the ring she removed some few minutes ago to return it to Ethan. "Okay, where do you want me to start?" "Anywhere you wish." "There were five of us. Dani, Elizabeth, Audrey, Taylor and me. We spent about 9 months in the basement. The walls where cement. The floor was cement. We each had our own chairs. Dani had her baby blue chair with white roses in the upper right corner. Elizabeth had her pale pink chair with white daiseys in the lower right corner. Audrey had her yellow chair with white roses in the upper left corner. Taylor had her black chair with red roses in the lower left corner. I had a white chair with sunflowers that sat in the center, the very center of the room. Each of us had a light above our heads. There were no covers in the lights just the wires losely hanging with the light attached at the end. The front legs of all our chairs had buckles that when we sat down they were right where our ankles were like he knew just were to put them. There were buckles on our arm rests that when we laid are arms on them the buckels our wrist were in the perfect spot. I think its funny how we all never made the conecction." "What conecction would that be?" "That we all have brown hair, blue eyes, were 5'5, all weighed 130. That when you put the first letter of each of our names together it spells Death. I love how at one point we all thought something, right before we were taken. Dani thought she was going to get mail. Elizabeth thought she was picking up dinner.
