Winter. Right before she was born, her father left her mother for some unexplained reason. Afterwards, she got bullied and taunted. People tell her that her father left because she was a mistake and he hated her. Dispite her mother's comfort and support, she begins to suffer from anxiety and depression. Though she had not talked to or met him her entire life, she soon finds out that he died, destroying any hope that he will ever come back for her. That pulls her deeper into the darkness, and the bullying only gets worse.

Ashley, a 12 year old girl, was found at the doorstep of a group home with nothing but a simple blue book. Having endured so much drama in her past, Ashley barely spoke, and isolated herself away in her room, refusing to share anything, even putting up a fight whenever they tried moving her to a new home. But with a surprising turn of luck, Jane, a new foster parent, was able to strike a chord with Ashley, and brought her into her home. And soon after, a young girl is able to slip past Ashley's walls with some persistence. But several questions still remain. What happened in Ashley's past? What is that mysterious blue book that Ashley's refuses to let go of? Will there ever be someone who can truly be there for Ashley, no matter what? ~~~~~~ Updates: 1 chapter per month (at least) *I am open to (and encourage you to give) any ideas for this book, just as long as you're kind and respectful* Started: October 27, 2024 Finished:
