If you could know the exact moment you would meet your soulmate would you want to?

It's the year 2023 and people have perfected an implant device that tests the carriers blood and hormones to determine their perfect soulmate. These implants are as simple as a watch that countdown to the very second that they will meet that person. 
This however comes with rules;

1. Timers can only be implanted in humans ages 13 and up.

2. Timers will only begin to countdown if both sides have the implant.

3. Timers are 100% accurate and guarantee your happiness but have no guarantee for immediate satisfaction time wise. 

4. Timers have no boundaries, fate does not respect race, age, gender, sexual orientation, or relationship status.

5. If your soulmate dies your counter will fall off and there is no chance for another perfect match.

Follow a rag tag bunch of people as they come to terms with the new age and search for their other halves.

There could be gay matches, and there could even be polyamorous matches. The tattoos will tingle when you are near to your sm. They live in the same state but for 4 years Harper paniced because she couldn't find her match. She wasn't sure if it was because her sm wasn't of age yet or if her sm lived far away.
