How would you feel, if you were just the crazy girl? The girl who doesn't have a life, doesn't have a family and is locked away in a mental institution. Camille is anything but crazy, she's smart, funny, sarcastic, slightly weird, but definitely not psychotic. She is what you might call 'cursed'. When she looks at the object or living thing of interest, she sees their death number, she knows when they will die. Big, bold letters always hanging over their heads, counting down their demise. 

What does she do with this power? Why was she born with this curse? The curse that got her locked away, never allowed to be normal, always viewed differently. No matter what, destiny has a plan for this girl and it all starts with a mysterious new boy, who brings change and trouble into her already screwed up world. Can she unlock the secrets behind the numbers?

Stella never had many friends as a kid, she wasn't a very social child, but being at the prison and meeting kids just like her made it easier. It doesn't end there, more secrets about the program and just where these mutations came from are uncovered. Bringing out more darkness and light, Moonlight and Sunshine. Read on to see just how Stella's story unfolds... ~ "Who are you?" Stella asked, staring at the girl with the uncanny grin and red horns sticking out of her head. "I'm anything and everything... Y/n Powers. (Yes powers is her last name, it's kinda funny) She looks like your average girl but she's not. We'll get into that later. Fast forward a year and we defeat if again. The mind flay, to be exact. I have powers that no one knows about, well someone does. The person I trust most. Will. The only reason I didn't help defeat it was cause my powers would have killed someone. So I didn't use them. Plus chose to do it herself. We got a new member of the group. Max. She's from California. She use to hate us- now we couldn't be closer. Fast forward five months, and me and Will confessed our feelings for each other. Mike and El did, too. But it was kinda obvious that they liked each other. El told me about a girl that is strong but I don't know if she's talking about me. Now we are all just happy and all together. Like a family. I don't know when I'm going to tell them though. (I will list the powers in the story and what they are and stuff. Also everything else.)

Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. I am working on rewriting this story and when I do there will be the trigger warnings in the correct places.) (small teaser.) No one sees me. I am a ghost. I brush against the wooden fence. No one will believe it was me who disappeared into a fence and appeared on the other side of school. I stare at my brother. He made eye contact with me, confirming my suspicions. We both saw it. She found no relief from it, maybe because she had no happy memories to find solace in, nor anyone to find comfort in. And yet, Amber could be the catalyst to setting a series of events that had been prophesied centuries before, into motion, bringing together three more people – the embodiments of the Emblems – to bring magic back to life. But in this underlying world of Adepts, Demons and secrets within secrets, unlocking their potential will be harder than you think. ~^~^~^~^~^ So, this is my 2014 Nanowrimo story, which is basically an attempt to rewrite Phoenix, where it shall go through major changes in plot, characters as well as effects of my new-and-improved writing style.
