Romance
Nikki was the new girl. She came from the city and now she was stuck in the country. She planned on liking no one and getting out of that sleepy little town as soon as possible. That was until she met a group of teens her age that welcomed her in with open arms. Eddie lived there most of his life. He was used to the smell of fresh air and pine trees. He had his small group of friends and they all took care of each other. No one could come between them When Nikki and Eddie meet each other things don't really go as planned. He didn't plan on getting close to her. He made sure that before he let his feelings go any further than the occasional glance here or there and they hanging out as a group together, that he would ask Cass out. So Nikki starts dating his brother David. Her first summer there is a whirlwind of drama, romance, and heartbreak. She wasn't supposed to get close to Eddie, but fate sometimes has other plans.

It was supposed to be a clean slate. New town. New school. No attention.!! Then I got stuck sitting next to Caleb Maddox - East Haven High's golden boy with dimples, a devil-may-care smirk, and the kind of energy that makes you fall without even realizing it. He doesn't remember me. But I remember everything. The summer we met. The dare. The way he promised he'd never forget me. Spoiler alert: he did. Now, I'm just "the new girl" to him. But he's the boy who once wrecked my heart without even knowing it. And thanks to one annoying seat swap, I'm stuck right beside him again - in class, in drama, and in feelings I swore I buried years ago. But the thing about summer is... it doesn't care who you're trying not to fall for. If he doesn't break her again... She might just break all her rules for him.
