This is based on Vivziepop's webcomic 'Zoophobia', all rights to characters belong to her.
I should add that the events in this story do take place before Cameron arrived in Safe haven, so there won't be as many recognizable characters in this story. I do plan to make more stories that explore the expansive roster of characters but this one is a more experimental personal journey that focuses on character depth and world building.

Venn didn't have your normal life. He had been orphaned at a young age. He had been taken in by a group of homeless people and raised to survive on the streets. He had paid for his first two years of high school himself. But even he didn't expect that a plane flight to his new transfer school would land him in a place full of strange creatures. He didn't expect to come face-to-face with a being that had helped shape a civilization that died out. Despite everything being so outlandishly weird, Venn can't help but ask himself why everything here is so familiar to him... At long last, a brief moment of rest has interrupted the unending power struggle in the Northwest Safe Haven. For the first time in years, the city is calm, and all is well. Or so it seems. After receiving a suspicious invitation to visit Fisi's Tower (directly from his business partner, no less), the Protectors are met with an interesting opportunity. They've been given permission to scour the entire building, potentially allowing them access to facts that might loosen Fisi's hold on the haven--or even turn his empire upside-down.
