"Change is inevitable." My father always said. "The ones who adapt are the survivors, and the ones who make the change happen are the creators." For a long time throughout childhood I believed I was a survivor. Adjusting my behavior to be an accpectable child that every parent, teacher, and authority figure wanted. Living life blindly and accpecting the way things were despite every fiber in my being telling me not to settle. "That's just the way things are don't over think yourself sweety" is my what mother always said. But at the age of 18 the blinders that seemed to be attached to my eyes had been rigorously ripped off and the ugly truths took no shame in infecting the deep wounds the blinders left behind...I have many names, but in this life I am known as Kei.
