Trick of the Hand

Muggleborn Kyle Brown came to hogwarts from a magic family. Magic meaning magicians, tricksters, all of the muggle magic. Now you can imagine their excitement when their child actually HAS magic.

Kyle enters first year unknown, second year with barely passing grades, third year with a knee record of detentions, fourth year without a date.

Fifth year approaches, now he really needs to step up his studies if he wants to continue in the magic world and make his parents proud.

Lyra Malfoy was more than a little excited to finally enter hogwarts. Mostly driven by the will to stay away from her well known family and learn as mush magic as possible she shines at the top of every class.

First year held dread of failure and going home, second year made her tied in the school records for highest exam scores, third year and people found out about her, fourth year and she almost wanted to go home.

Fifth year is here and she just wants to get through everything, avoid home life, avoid her parents legacy, pass classes.
