To say Demi has had a hard life is an understatement. With losing her mom at the young age of 4 years old, dealing with a drunk, and being abused for most of her life, there aren't many people left that she can trust. Well can you blame her? She only has one friend--her best friend--Zoey. She can count on Zoey for anything. One day, Demi finally meets Zoey's cousin Kyle. At first, she's hesitant to let him in, but that doesn't mean he doesn't try. Kyle is intrigued by Demi from the first moment he lays an eye on her, but will he get there in time to save her?
