"Some people had a way with animals. I had a way with the sky."
***
Zoë Essa is a fifteen year old girl with problems; she lies to her "friends", doesn't trust people, has trouble sleeping all the time, and can't seem to express her emotions. Her mother is more of a train wreck than she is, constantly smoking, eating, and swearing at Noelle, Zoë's older sister.
When Zoë starts reading a book on a sunny day, she comes across this sentence: Running away changed everything. She gets a prospect, one that should stay in the ideology of fiction, even though she thought of reality: What if she ran away from home?
When Zoë decides to stay at a Motel across town, she encounters Lola, an alcoholic woman who owns the place, and Theodore, Lola's niece, a sixteen year old boy who paints pictures more beautiful than words - these are the two people that will give her what she wants, despite not knowing WHAT she wants: hope.

The Comeback
*past* "Just leave Mary Grace." Teddy says to me with a blank stare, but I could see sadness built around them. "But Teddy, why-" I begin to say as a tear falls down my cheek. "No one wants you here loser. Ted never liked you. He just felt sorry for you." Savannah Oak says beside Teddy. I look to Teddy knowing that he'll stick up for me like he always does, but he is just staring at the floor. "Is that true?" I ask looking at him. He looks up and nods. "Dont you have a flight to catch?" Paige asks with a smirk. Tears Fall down my face, Savannah rolls her eyes and walks away. "Goodbye Mary Grace." Teddy says closing the door. I slowly turn around and hop back on my bike. How could he do this to me? We've been friends since we were little. He turned out to be just like the rest of them. He never did like me. I ride my bike home sobbing. "Mary Grace what happened?" My sister Anna Maria says running over to me. As I push my bike onto the driveway. "I never want to comeback here again!" I cry into her shoulder. *** Summary will be the first chapter! Hope you enjoy, first Teen Fiction Story. :) Btw. This is my story I made it up with my mere imagination, so don't steal thanks. Because of Haven Beach
"The moon's really beautiful, if you think about it," I blurted. "Yeah?" he asked, mild amusement and curiosity mingling in his voice. "Yeah," I confirmed. "It's just- there's something about the moon that's ethereal. I don't really know how to describe it, but it's a constant in life. You can't always see it, but you have to trust that it's out there somewhere. And when you can see it, it's all bright and shiny and overcomes the darkness." I paused, searching for the right words. "I don't know. I guess it's a reminder that there are good things out there, even if you can't see them... And it's cool to think that someone hundreds of miles away is staring at the exact same moon as you. It makes me feel not so alone in life." Turning my head, I saw him staring at me intently with a thoughtful look on his face. "Too deep for a Friday night?" I laughed nervously, feeling my face grow hot. And this was precisely why I didn't go to parties. He shook his head and seemed to snap out of his daze. "It was deep in a good way." *** SHE was quiet & left out. Starving for love
Zoe Adam was a master at pretending. At eighteen, she'd perfected the art of silence, smiling when expected, nodding at the right moments, keeping her secrets tucked away in her heart. It was safer that way. With three siblings, a chaotic dysfunctional Latin household, and parents who wore kindness like a mask, Zoe learned early that love could sting just as easily as it could soothe. Her mother could call her mi vida in one breath, then leave bruises seen and unseen in the next. Her father? He floated in and out, too wrapped in his own storms to notice the ones he left behind. None knew anything. her sisters who witnessed everything but didn't say anything, had their own shields. Not her brother, who tried to be the hero but never saw what needed saving. Zoe kept everything locked inside her feelings, her loneliness, her hunger, her ache, her need until even she forgot what it felt like to be full. Then came Hayden Reid. Nineteen, half-Italian and Puerto Rican, . He moved to London that summer, taking the flat right next door. To most, he was just the new guy with the sharp jaw, quiet hazel eyes, and that permanent don't-get-too-close look. But to Zoe, he was more than that. He was her brother's best friend. The boy who used to tease her when they were kids visiting Italy. The one who disappeared after his parents split and reappeared years later with more muscle, and a haunted look she couldn't stop staring at. Hayden had his own shadows. His past was littered with broken things promises, people, places he no longer called home. Coming back to London was supposed to be a reset, not a reunion. But fate had other plans for him. Now, he lives just a few steps from Zoe's window. Too close to ignore, too far to touch. And despite the years, the distance, and the damage they see each other in a way no one else does. Two hearts with locked doors. Two people who never meant to collide again.Terminé

The Secret of Soul
“I tucked my light brown hair behind my ear and placed on my warm, light blue winter jacket and headed for the woods. He was here, breathing down my neck, yet not here at all. I felt his presence consume me, yet I felt nothing. The cold air whipped into my face and I looking into the July snow. “Whitney,” the spirits whispered. He was here.” What happens when one era ends and another begins? Whitney woke up from her afternoon nap when her best friend Sarah called. Apparently, the world was ending, despite the obvious knowledge it wasn't, and Sarah wanted to party. Whitney was always the third wheel when it came to Sarah and her boyfriend Jack, and was really not up for it, but she threw on some clothes and met them at the beach. Whitney met them, and after hours of torture, ran away from them after almost drinking cow blood. On her run, she saved lives and saw the world beginning to change. She ends the escape at Courtney's house, a local teen, who was drunk with her best friends. Unfortunately, the Ouija board "joke" turned into a true spell that slowly caused the human race to disintegrate and the rise of supernatural beings to become a reality. I dedicate this story to my best friend Zoe. Zoe, you're a constant inspiration for this and I love you forever for it!!!Terminé
