There were many things being said by the students at Sam Kersey's high school. They were talking about a certain girl.

And Katelyn Degray happened to be their subject.

Katlyn Zoe Degray had gone missing two months ago. Yet everyone at Clinton High thought it was a joke. The joke was that Katelyn wasn't missing, instead, she was some girl no one knew. She had no pictures or other possessions in or on her locker, just textbooks that could be proved to be anybody's, not even a trace of her could be detected in the school.

She was basically Jane Doe.

Sam finds out that the mystery behind this anonymous girl is anything but anonymous. A fake account exists with her name and her real pictures. Or at least, pictures of a girl who seems to be real.

But that's as real as it gets.

As Sam slowly goes behind the eerie truth behind Kate, the missing teen proved to be dead or not real. He discovers secrets of people he never would've even dared talking to, whilst getting closer to what really happened to the ghost girl of Clinton High.
