Amberpaw has finally returned to his clanmates after a while of being missing. The cats of HeatherClan live a normal life until five cats join their clan by the permission of Amberstar. A series of murders start appearing in the territories of the four clans. Amberpaw tries to solve the mystery of the murders but falls in love with the murderer herself without knowing it.
