When Jon Harper goes on vacation to a mountain resort in Nigeria, he has no idea the insane twist of fate in store for him. Now in Nigeria, and with a questionable memory, his life begins to take new shape, especially when he meets Simisola Ayo.
Simisola is a self-proclaimed 'no-deal' 17-year-old, and they strike up a sweet relationship in no time, occasionally marred by undertones of each of their individual traumas. Jon is not deceived, and knows that there is more beneath what she lets on. But he also really wants to make it work. She believes she does too, but constantly self-sabatoges without even fully realizing it. The thing now, is, will she ever eventually open up, giving their relationship a chance to actually bloom?
