*First draft novel- any critique is appreciated*
Theres a fabled city that exists above both land and water, that is the whispered lands of the gods. The city of Arimine... A place where it is said that humans and gods can meet, to worship, to pray, to ask for miracles... the island has long since been missing, now only an ancient legend, told to children before bed and sought after by many advanced adventurers in the land beneath and shunned by the sceptical.
The land beneath is filled with many religious people. It is a land ruled by the laws of make believe and fantasy... and because of this, many people are superstitious. They say that if you can find the island of Arimine once more then each person to find it can have one miracle granted each...
So what is it that will be wished for, by our four unlikely heroes... A young girl who can never show her face... A boy warrior who was cursed with blindness... A witchiling who sold her heart to demons who can no longer love and a noblemen who lost all he had in a fire...
What awaits for them on this treacherous adventure, no adventurer would dare take, is both hope and despair... each being carried by a deep resolve and a prayer...

She looks...there are no words. Her clothe-less body lays stiff on a metal slab, and her head moving back and forth. I could stare at this all day, but I can't. I know it's wrong. And, she would hate me after this. I roughly turn my head away, then I hear a groan. I snap my head to her direction. She groans again. "Oh God...my head..." She sits up, but instantly falls down. Probably a head rush. "Skye?" I call her name, softly. I don't want her to feel alone and frightened. "Who's there?" Her pearly voice commands. Ever since we've been thrown in here, my love for her grew. I can physically see my love in the air, just waiting for her to inhale it. "It's just me, Luke." She gasps and a million things come out of her mouth,"Luke!? Are you ok? Where are we? What happened? Wheres Tristan? And Mr. Parker-" "Just open your eyes, princess." Princess? Where the fuck did that come from? Oh well, I like it anyways. "Shit."she curses when her eyes are open,"Luke! What the hell is going on!?" "I don't know, Princess, but don't shout. It echos." I hold my head, trying to subside the pain tht now grows. "Mr. Parker is staring at me." I throw my fist against the metal bar I'm contained against,"Mr Parker!? He's there with you? Cover yourself, dear." "Figured that out already. Thanks for your help." I could imagine her rolling her eyes. "I'm here as a friend, not a foe. Though you do look ravishing, might I add?" Mr. Parker states. "What do you mean friend not a foe? I'm pretty sure you're the big enemy here." She tightens her hold on herself. He sighed,"Maybe so, but do you want to know where your friend is or not?" "Yes, please." She begged. "No! Skye! Don' make deals with him!" I yell. I know exactly where this is leading. I could feel her gaze burning in my direction, though I'm 99.99% sure she can't see me"What do you want, Mr Parker?" He sighed, like it was obvious. Well, it was for me,"Give me yourself, and you get your friend. Oh, and I'll let you go.Complete
