Miles Raechel: he's a 6½ year old bat going away from his parents for the summer on Summer Camp Island. But he's never been away from his parents for that long. He's a fun loving kid that has a lot to learn, emotionally and factually. Miles is a bright and cheery kid all around and full of innocence and optimism.
River Raechel: he's Miles' 14 year old big bat brother also attending camp with Miles. He's an autistic teen who went through an early puberty at 12. He's really tall and has an "I'd rather be anywhere else" attitude with little to no innocence due to past events. River is also the friendly big brother and the bully big brother to Miles depending on the situation.
Both of them are on Summer Camp Island for the whole summer. And they'll have to deal with things they don't want to. Including each other from time to time.

It makes for a pleasant surprise when Kennedy accidentally gets put into a boys cabin at her summer camp. It gets even better when Levi is a camp counselor who also stays in that room. She's stuck with 4 boys for 2 months and doesn't know how she'll manage. As she befriends the teenage boys she starts to realize that Levi is different than she remembers.
