Actually, scratch that. I can't even trust myself. All I can trust at the end of the day is my skill in the game of volleyball.
You heard me right. I base the value of my life in how hard I can hit a ball over a net. Pathetic, huh? And yet....
All I have is volleyball.
Someone a long time ago told me to not hold back. To aim for the top. So that's what I'm going to do. I don't care who I have to beat to get there. Who I have to pound. Who I have to run over. It's all collateral damage for me.
Pathetic, isn't it? And yet....
It's volleyball. All I have is volleyball.

Hinata was the best Pitcher in Japan. His aim was one of the best and whenever he played on the field people would call him the King or the Beast. He could get even the best player out of the game with his killing strikes... However, this is only his past. Now he is a volleyball player at Karasuno. After getting to Karasuno, Hinata experiences a lot of good volleyball player. Too bad for him that with Kageyama's harsh words, his own mental states start to get worse and worse with each passing day until he himself thinks it isn't worth carrying on anymore. Now to top that one-off, his family never wanted a son but a daughter too! With no real place where he can feel at home and accepted, this lonely crow decided to give it all up. I just want to play volleyball-no, I need to. It's the one thing that makes my heart race in the best way possible, the one thing that makes me feel truly alive. But more than that, I want to stand on the court with people who see me as their equal, who fight beside me, not just for themselves. I've always pushed forward, no matter what.
