Dark Necessity

Alice just turned 20. She lives with her best friend Jake and is about to move to California with a group of friends to start out new. At the age of 15 her dad got shot and passed away just hours after the incident. A couple days after the death of her father Alice woke up to her mom being gone. She stayed for a couple days but her mom never came home. Alice attempted suicide 3 days after her mother left but failed. She tried to overdose on pills but she didn't take enough to the damage she wanted. 4 days after attempting she packed a bag and ran away from home. She camped out behind a restaurant and while she did she met a man named Garrett. He was 20 and worked there. For a couple weeks after work when he worked he would bring her out food before he took his usual walk home. One night he invited her to walk with him so she could get a shower and a couch to sleep on. She ended up moving in with him until she was 19. When she was 19 she moved in with her best friend Jake. Which Alice now regrets because she had very strong feelings for Garrett and she still does. Little does she know Garrett loved her more than she could ever know.
