November 29th, 2026, my birthday. Today I turn eighteen "I'm finally free." But what's the point of a birthday anyways, it's just another day of the year. Some people just love celebrating the day they were born, but not me....not anymore. Eight years ago I was only eleven. I had a loving mother and father, good people. But I guess being a good person doesn't save you from the bad things in the world cause if it did, they would still be here. My father died on my eleventh birthday. My mom, well she's alive , but she's been in a coma for the past seven years. Some birthday. After that I decided to never celebrate my birthday again. The last thing they gave me was a locket. It has a picture in it of our family, before it happened. Before the hurt, the pain, and the misery. It just happened so fast, there was nothing I could have done to stop it. But worst of all, I can never forget. I still remember it like it was yesterday......
