"Are you an angel?" Virgo asked cautiously. The white headed girl looked back at Virgo and her brother. "Angels don't exist. The sooner you accept that, the easier it gets." "Then who are you?" Virgo asked, following her some more. The white headed girl had a twinge if sympathy in her eyes. "Names have power, kid. It's best you don't know mine." "Then what are you?" Virgo demanded, sick of this girls games. Her brother held onto her arm. "Most kids know us now as the monster under the bed. The demon willing to drag you to the pits of hell," the girl explained. "But there are no such things as demons and angels. Life isn't that black and white." ------------- There is a town where children are snatched from their beds in the night. There is a town where mothers fear their children are next to go. There is a town where windows and doors remained lock in fear of what may come through them in the dead of night, when nobody is a awake, when nobody will hear a scream.
