**WATTPAD HQ EDITOR'S PICK for August 2021** *FEATURED IN THE "CHILLS AND THRILLS" READING LIST ON WATTPAD'S "Paranormal" page!* **FEATURED ON WATTPAD'S #PrideatWattpad READING LIST** Can we understand what happens after death by summoning ghosts? And are ghosts... real? Twenty-two-year-olds Arielle Daniels and Stella Sullivan go on an east-coast ghost-hunting tour to honor their recently deceased best friend, Jade, whose death remains a mystery. Only her parents know the circumstances, and they refuse to tell anyone. Stella wants to pay her respects by following Jade's bucket-list; but Arielle wants real, palpable answers. What happens after death? Why has she lost so many loved ones? And how exactly did Jade die? In the midst of their journey, Arielle realizes she might have been in love with Jade, but now... she has no way to be sure, and no idea how to reveal this to Stella--or anyone else, for that matter. As they travel, the girls discover more about themselves than they anticipated, both forced to come to terms with their emotions; Arielle to accept her bisexuality, and Stella to acknowledge her heritage as the descendant of a long line of psychic mediums. But the trip takes on an eerie tone when they get more than they bargained for, and swallow up more occult knowledge than either ever expected to find in their lifetimes. • WARNING: this book is rated MATURE for handling triggering, sensitive issues. There will be jumps, screams, and heart-palpitating moments. Proceed with caution.

Do paranormal things, witches and magic exist? There are gifts that are waiting to be discovered. The mythical power is just waiting beyond the deepest darkest tunnel of the unknown. Only the brave learns to test the waters amidst the labyrinth of its knotted mystery. PLEASE, NO PLAGIARISM. (~Created July 6, 2018:Finished August 5, 2018~) Being engrossed in studying his current case detained him from leaving at once until he forgot the time. He never mentioned to Hera that he's going home after two decades. Only his youngest child knows of his trip back home. Whether he believes in curse or not. It's his 45th birthday tomorrow and he must be home to keep his promise to his mother. His family had never forsaken him, he did. He'd been ignoring their summons since he turned his back from them. Perhaps it's time to grant their plea. He closes his office and walks to the elevator. "Good evening, Artemis." The man in a black jacket greets him. Artemis smiles at the stranger. "Do I know you?" The stranger puts his arm around the stunned lawyer. Behind the unknown man's dark glasses are bloodshot eyes ready to scare the wits out of his prey. "Your mother does. She's expecting me to greet you happy birthday." Removing his dark glasses, he stares at his victim to corrupt his eyes. Insurmountable fear assaults Artemis as excruciating pain drills on his eyeballs. A horrible scream slits through the silence of the night when the clock strikes twelve. As the elevator opens, the stranger loosens his grip and the victim falls on the floor. Covering his bleeding eyes, Artemis winces from severe pain. The man whistles away as he walks past the dead body of the security guard in the lobby to the snowy road outside the building. His victim crawls out of the closing elevator. The curse is true. He must get into his car before his sight totally leaves him. He must warn his family. " I must save Athena!"

Sneaking into a campus party shouldn't lead to expulsion, should it? *** Colleges across the U.S. have been on alert because of rioters who all but rendered the American Ivy League universities extinct, after the end of the COVID pandemic in twenty-twenty-five. After their destruction, smaller subsidiaries of those Ivy Leagues have been thriving, thanks to donations and government grants. In twenty-twenty-nine, Junior student Kera Mitchell learns the hard way that it's actually a minor crime to crash a party on campus--it's an invasion of private property. At her university, Valence, there are still severe punishments in place for disrespect to any structures on site. Kera finds out that though she won't be expelled for her party-crashing, she did break a serious rule, and she'll have to pay for it. Along with the party-throwers, hot golden boy Miles, and drug-dealing douche Vick, she's given a punishment none of them expected: they're sent to an unknown, tropical island to learn how to control their erratic behaviors. Like a brainwashing vacation against violence, sex, drugs, and alcohol. Except Kera shouldn't be there--she's as docile as they come, and has never been rowdy and rebellious in her life. Wrong place, wrong time? The island has many secrets, some of which Kera and Miles will stumble upon inadvertently, and that will change the course of the rest of their lives. Will they leave the island unscathed? Will they leave it... at all? ----------- A post-pandemic, post-apocalyptic, paranormal horror novel. Please mind your triggers (gore, language, trauma, violence) Inspired by a dream I had and that I became obsessed with turning into a book.

11 parts Complete Mature

A group of high school students dare two girls into the old high school to spend the night but are never seen again. Years later Sidney and a group of teens go into the old high school and most of the teens are disappearing and mysteriously dying. It's up to Sidney and Jason to figure out what's going on and why. Will they figure out what's going on in time, or will no one make it out a live. A/N: I hope you enjoy. This book contains a lot of horror and death. So if you are a little squeamish I don't recommend reading this. Sorry it took so long to post I wrote this a long time ago back in high school and I wrote this as a script not a book. It took me a while to edit and rewrite and reword it. Please no mean comments, if you don't like it then don't read it, and I know there is a lot of mistakes, I am not the best writer.
