Defiant with a rebel streak in her, she is placed at the bottom of the agency as a field agent. 
    
    However, Maria has a secret. It is a secret that is getting harder to keep once a certain red eyed vamp appears in her life. 
    
    Will Maria be able to hide in the shadows or will the creature of the night pull her out of them?
