"My greatest wish - other than salvation - was to have a book. A long book with a never-ending story. One I could read again and again, with new eyes and a fresh understanding each time." ~ Yann Martel

I found that book. I found my never-ending story. For me, it is something very special. Something that weaves together the perfect tale that always takes my breath away every time I open and gaze into it.

And now I want to share it with you.

Welcome to my new book! A World Without Rain is a tale of love, tragedy, but most importantly finding oneself. I hope you enjoy it! If you do, I'd massively appreciate it if you voted and left a comment! I should also point out that some of the chapters may deal with some heavy, possibly current topics. Should I feel any need to I will notify these before the chapter starts, indicating what it is that's included. Well I think that just about rounds this introduction up! Enjoy! ^o^

It all happened one day. You opened your eyes to a blue sky and green grass as far as the eye could see, animals here and there walking about. It was all so peaceful, the sun and wind against your skin, coercing you to get out there and explore, mine that tree, build a pickaxe, kill those mobs. You were taken in by a village and raised there before everything was taken away from you. You learned a valuable lesson that night: that this world can be cruel. But... even then, it's your world. You grow because of what you endure, you build your muscle by tearing it. You can do whatever you want. You can choose to be cruel or not. You decided what you wanted to be when you spared that PIGLIN BRUTE, a hostile creature that was unable of comprehending emotions, a creature that only knew cruelty, A MERE NPC. Little did you know, because you spared that piglin, your life would never be the same again. This is your world, and you changed it, you will leave your impact. You are in control, and you will keep fighting through dirt, sand, and snow; through the deepest oceans and the hottest pits of lava; and across the Overworld and Nether. You will SURVIVE. Welcome to Minecraft. ... Play some of Minecraft's OST and begin reading :) (Feedback is greatly appreciated. Read at a steady pace and enjoy. The art on the cover was made by @Scraffy on Twitter all credit goes to them) Trigger Warnings ⚠️ - gore here and there... - sexual topics - slavery - child abuse - Suggestive language and cussing

There is no Planet B. Actually, there is. -------------------- [2021 WATTYS SCI FI WINNER🎉] [WATT-MULTIVERSE FEATURE] [HIGHEST RANK: #1 in LGBTPRIDE #4 in SCIENCE #12 in PLANET] Briar Black is not a good person, which has never bothered him, or anyone in 2399, at all. Until the government releases something huge: Planet B. A second chance. And all 10 billion people want it, but only 3 billion can go. So, the 2632 Exam: a year long test to see who deserves that second chance, and who does not. Briar thinks his shot is out the window, but when Theodore Maize-AKA a saint, AKA a definite candidate for Planet B-enters, Briar has a plan: Befriend Theo, get his spot, and say goodbye to his life on Earth for good. The plan comes with more than just meeting Theo, but meeting his world, and where it collides with Briar's: the ruthless reality of the rich, the pitying reality of the poor, the state of his dying world, the time ticking on all their fates, the mind of a bad person, the heart of a good person, and the rocky roads everyone takes to get there. One shot, one guy, one year, two planets. How hard could it be? [150-200,000 WORDS] [Content Warning: This story contains drug use, scenes of withdrawal, alcohol use, and violence.]
