Hotshot young female rookie racer Lightning McQueen is living life in the fast lane until she hits an unexpected detour on her way to the most important race of her whole life. Stranded in Radiator Springs, a forgotten town on the old Route 66, she meets Samuel Carrera, Mater, Doc Hudson, and a variety of quirky characters to help her discover that there's more to life than just trophies and fame. 
This is basically a humanized rewrite of Cars, but with a genderbent McQueen and Sally. I also don't own the fanart used as the cover for this story, and Lightning is a tiny bit less of a jerk in this compared to the movie. Enjoy! :DAll Rights Reserved

Lightning McQueen and Braedey Martin have to work hard and find friendship and even love in the simple locals of Radiator Springs, changing its values during their stay in the small town, and becoming a true winner, and telling us that there's more to the race than just the finish line. A/N: this is to pay tribute to the great Paul Newman (the voice of Doc Hudson), who passed away sadly. The 'Cars' characters belong to Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Animation Studios. Creating the second movie with humans will be a difficult challenge but this is connected with the first book, instead of McQueen and the reader getting closer like in the first one, this story is about the reader's relationship with her father. I'm not telling you who he is, you'll have to figure out that yourself until the chapter comes out. Which I hope won't be long. I've been taking notes on the key details in the movies that are helpful and have done research on things that might have the movie if they were humans, the words in the story maybe different but it's still the same thing. Both Lightning McQueen and the reader are now 23 and 22 years old. The movie takes four years later after the first movie.

Chloe does chores and stays in her room everyday. She doesn't get to have fun like the other kids. For years she has been adopted, but also brought back. The families only wanted her for slave reasons. Chloe loves to watch the Piston Cup races and watch her favorite racer, Lightning McQueen. Once she hears that he's coming to her orphanage to adopt, she prays that he'll be the one. The one who would be her hero to save her from this prison. Her prayers come true; she's adopted by McQueen. But Mrs Nelson threatened that if Chloe ever came back, she would suffer the consequences. Will Chloe love her new life? Or will she be brought back and spend the rest of her life suffering and rotting in an orphanage?
