A bunch of random Star Wars stories and competition entries. Okay, "one-shots" may be misleading. This is just a collection of ideas I've come up with. Some will be told in multiple chapters. And what if that Padawan...was her Son? Ratheon Shan... Like his Mother, Ratheon was a devout Jedi, and served the Jedi Order with unwavering loyalty, and especially, the cause that his Mother drilled into him when he was a mere child? After the attack on the Jedi Temple by the fierce Sith Lord, Darth Malgus, and his subsequent defeat on Alderaan, the Sith Empire ramped up their attacks on both the Jedi, and the Republic. As such, Satele chose to both safeguard the order, and save her Son. Freezing him in Carbonite, the Grandmaster of the Jedi Order believed that no matter what happened, her Son would safeguard the Jedi Order they had both sworn to protect, through his unique, and rather..."grey", attitude... How is she supposed to contend with vicious Flesh Raiders, rogue droids, and learning to fly a Starship, not to mention the rise of the Sith empire? Before the Battle of Yavin, before the fall of the Republic, the precursor to the Republic found it's roots hand in hand with the Jedi-The Old Republic. In it rests thousands of tales of unique Jedi and With, many of which have gone forgotten thanks to the passage of time. The story if Thael is one of those often forgotten. A story of compassion, sorrow, loss, love, anger, betrayal, and everything that a Jedi should not be. Perhaps, in Thael's story there is a lesson to be learned for Jedi-to-be's. Note: I obviously do not own Star Wars, I'm just a fan whose loved the series since my birth as a prequels baby. Star Wars is owned by Lucasfilm and Disney. I have no intentions of making profits off this story, just want to tell an interesting tale.Complete
Force Destiny
Immediately following the events of The Last Jedi, the battle for the galaxy continues between the First Order and the last of the Resistance. As the new Supreme Leader takes the throne, the First Order is focused on finding and destroying all who oppose them. The Resistance had disappeared into hiding and desperation has forced them to explore the gray areas of war. Meanwhile, on opposite sides of the war, Rey and Kylo Ren are forced to face the realities of their bond, their complicated relationship, their loyalty to their causes, and their understanding of the Force. Could their star-crossed connection be tied to the fate of the galaxy? This is a slow burn! Enemies to friends to lovers. This story continues the arcs and themes beautifully woven through The Last Jedi, as well as the narrative from the previous two trilogies. All plot elements are intended to be canon-compliant through TLJ. This is 100% complete. It was completed in December 2019 on A03 before The Rise of Skywalker was released, so this is not a "fix-it" fic as much as an alternative to Episode IX. This is a dark story. Trigger warnings for major character death, minor character death, violence, severe injuries, psychological torture, physical torture, brief explanations of sexual assault, suicidal thoughts.
