Dear diary,
Papa hit mama yesterday day, they were yelling at each other as always about bills and papa not contributing enough, when papa just backhanded mama, I was sitting on the stairs when it happened so they didn't see me but once a grasp left my lips papa's head snapped in my direction and he started walk towards the stairs and all I could do was sit there shaking pray that he didn't leave any bruises.
