Aspiring writer Hadley Hemingway and her career went down the tube when a fellow member of the magazine she was writing for published her story and took all of the credit, quickly replacing her to become top dog, and leaving Hadley in the shadows. Now there is only one shot she can save herself: by going on Warped Tour and following the punk rock band 5 Seconds of Summer for the entire summer. There's just one problem. Lead singer Luke Hemmings is on a downward spiral. Now clad in tattoos and piercings, his mood went from sweet and shy to angry and belligerent. Even his band mates are afraid to be near him.
Hadley told herself from the beginning that she had to stay away. But sometimes, we take our own advice and tear it to shreds.
