Annie was lost in the desert. Her life at stake. Everyone in Ember Town had a pet. Annie was kicked out of her home for she didn't have a bond with an animal. She walked across the desert until she was buried in quicksand. Annie thought she was dead. She wasn't. For she was sleeping next to a dragons tail. Annie soon learned the way to bond with a dragon. That's when she came so soon to her home at the wrong time. Her parents thought she was the one doing it so she was banned from Ember Town forever.
