"It was you?" I asked, dumbstruck.

     "Of course," the person sneered. I couldn't believe it. Not in a million years would I think it'd be this person, of all people.

     "But why would you do this?"

     "I would tell you, but I'd have to kill you." My heart dropped to the floor. It was time to get out of there. 

     When 16-year old Evan Cunningham finds the body of his butler at his home, he is taken to the police station as a suspect for the murder. His alibi proves that he's innocent and free to go home, but that doesn't mean he's staying away from the case. Evan decides to take it upon himself to find out who the true murderer is. He knows he's not the criminal the police are after, but who is it they're looking for?
